Summary

A woman in Nevada has been sentenced nearly a year after fatally shooting her boyfriend during a photoshoot. The victim, 23-year-old Mark Santiago Gaughan, died at the scene in Las Vegas in August 2025 after being struck by a gunshot. His killer, Allysandra Blea, was apprehended days later.
Investigators discovered alarming online messages from Blea, including statements about wanting to shoot people and kill prostitutes, which she claimed were jokes. Her grandfather, a convicted sex offender, was a suspect in numerous killings in New Mexico.
Blea pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in June 2026, as part of an agreement to bypass a trial and reduce the charge from open murder. She has now been sentenced to a prison term of five years to life.
