According to the police, the nephew, Ganesh Ramesh Pujari, and his uncle, Mariappa Raju Nair, both residents of Mumbai's Goregaon, had gone to the hospital for the delivery of Pujari's wife. However, a heated argument broke out between the two men, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
Pujari is accused of slamming his uncle's head against the steps of the hospital and then lifting him and smashing him on the stairs, ultimately killing him. CCTV footage has surfaced, showing Pujari dragging Nair by the collar and forcefully removing him from the scene.
