Reports indicate White became belligerent in court before retrieving a gun from her car and firing at the attorneys as they exited the building.
Mary Harris was taken into surgery following the shooting, while Jeffery Whitley was reported to be in stable condition. White was also transported to the hospital after her arrest. The RPD confirmed the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The civil case, which was dismissed in January 2026, was recently being reviewed for potential reinstatement.
