The incident unfolded after the suspect made a 911 call from a Bellevue condominium complex, issuing a threat to kill. Responding Officer Nicholas Silinsky encountered the suspect's red pickup truck accelerating towards his patrol car as he entered the complex driveway.
Despite the officer's evasive maneuvers, the truck struck the patrol car's driver side, forcing it off the road and down an embankment. The suspect's vehicle overturned near a wooded area, and he was apprehended by officers after they broke a window. The suspect received medical treatment for non-critical injuries.
