Images released by the FBI show a masked figure approaching Nancy's door, possibly armed. A ransom note demanding bitcoin was confirmed by police. The family has released pleas for her safe return, offering to pay the ransom. An unrelated individual was charged with sending fake ransom texts, admitting he followed media coverage.
