8 Feb
Summary
- Law enforcement re-searched Annie Guthrie's home for evidence.
- The Guthrie siblings confirmed receiving a message and paying ransom.
- Investigators found a missed camera on Nancy Guthrie's roof.

Law enforcement conducted a renewed, late-night search at the Tucson, Arizona, home of Annie Guthrie, sister to Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, as the search for their mother, Nancy Guthrie, 84, continued into its seventh day.
During the search on Saturday night, investigators were observed photographing the interior of the property and carrying a silver briefcase inside. This renewed search occurred just hours after Annie, Savannah, and their brother Camron released a video addressing their mother's abductors.
In the video, the siblings stated they had received a message and would pay the ransom demands. While Savannah did not disclose details of the communication or the demands, she implied direct contact had been made by those claiming to hold Nancy hostage.
The search at Annie's home followed the discovery of a camera on Nancy's roof and the towing of an SUV from her garage on Friday, items reportedly missed in previous examinations. Authorities have not commented on any new evidence collected.
Meanwhile, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos faced criticism for attending a basketball game while deputies were actively pursuing leads in the tense search for Nancy, who reportedly suffers from health issues and is believed to be without her daily medications. President Trump had previously suggested the investigation was progressing well.
