19 Dec
Summary
- A man sent Myleene Klass an air pistol and handcuffs.
- He also sent "raving" letters and a police uniform.
- His insanity defence was rejected by jurors.

Peter Windsor, 61, is scheduled for sentencing at Warwick Crown Court after being found guilty of stalking TV presenter Myleene Klass and Classic FM colleague Katie Breathwick. Jurors rejected his insanity defence in October. The court heard that between March 2020 and August 2024, Windsor sent both women unsolicited items and "unhinged" mail to their central London studios.
Klass described experiencing "sheer terror" after receiving items such as an air pistol in a box addressed to her, along with handcuffs. Ms Breathwick also reported being left terrified by Windsor's actions, which included numerous hand-written notes, binoculars, perfume, and running shoes. Windsor's past actions also included sending a letter to Nicola Sturgeon, signed in blood, which he claimed was a joke.
Windsor, who has a long history of mental illness, defended his actions as a "pretend weird" acting performance. He is currently on remand and faces potential sentencing options including a prison term or hospital orders. Myleene Klass has since criticized the UK's stalking laws, deeming them outdated and ineffective in addressing modern threats.
