27 Nov
Summary
- Mum blamed health supplement for near five times legal blood alcohol limit.
- She was later involved in a crash with cannabis in her system.
- She is currently prohibited from driving any vehicle.

A Sydney mother initially convinced a magistrate she was almost five times over the legal blood alcohol limit due to a health supplement. Her defense cited drinking chlorophyll and a reflux condition, leading to the dismissal of the charge.
However, less than three weeks later, the same woman was involved in a serious car crash. Police allege she was driving with THC, the psychoactive component of cannabis, in her system. She also allegedly refused a breath test at the station.
Now facing multiple charges including negligent driving and driving with illicit drugs present, she is prohibited from driving as part of her bail conditions. She was recently seen being dropped off at her home by a chauffeur-driven car.
