Mumbai Police are actively seeking the individual responsible for sending a threatening email that targeted the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) office and an American school. The email's content included references to prominent celebrities, such as veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, though no direct threat was made against him.

Security agencies and law enforcement conducted comprehensive sweeps of the premises that received the communications. These inspections confirmed that no suspicious items or activities were found, alleviating immediate concerns.
