The victim, who had been in regular contact with the accused despite her parents' advice, faced severe mental distress. He had created and threatened to circulate her edited obscene images online. Despite paying him multiple times and police warnings, the harassment persisted, leading to her tragic death by suicide on November 15.
Following the incident, the victim's parents filed a fresh complaint. The accused has since been arrested and charged with offenses including threatening to circulate obscene photos, blackmailing, extortion, and abetment of suicide, as reported last week.
