A tragic incident unfolded in Mumbai's Powai area early on Thursday morning, resulting in the death of a four-year-old boy. The father, identified as 26-year-old Rajesh Singh, has been arrested for allegedly killing his son, Yash.
According to police, Singh became enraged when his son began crying for milk and repeatedly asked for it. In a fit of anger, Singh allegedly assaulted the child, slamming him against a door. The severe head injury resulted in a fatal skull fracture, as confirmed by the post-mortem examination.
Singh, who is reportedly addicted to alcohol, was the only adult present with his son at the time. The child's mother had been staying at her parents' home for the past fortnight. Yash was a special needs child.
