A shocking domestic incident at the Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains resulted in the deaths of a 3-year-old boy and his father. Their mother, Metacllica Harrison, faces two counts of criminal homicide for allegedly stabbing her family members to death in their resort room on Monday.
Responding officers found bleeding cuts on Harrison's wrists and neck, and she expressed suicidal sentiments to 911 dispatchers and later to police. Her husband, Charles Harrison, was found deceased on the mattress with multiple stab wounds, and their young son had a single fatal stab wound to the chest.
Inside the room, authorities discovered two knives believed to be the murder weapons. Harrison, who was taken to a local hospital, reportedly told an officer she had "messed up" and asked about vein depth for "next time." The family had checked into the lodge on September 21st, with their reservation extended until October 13th.
Great Wolf Lodge released a statement calling the event a "tragic domestic incident" and an "isolated family incident," confirming their full cooperation with law enforcement. The resort stated the knives were not theirs.
