Mother Shot Dead While Rapper Was Target Outside Church

A tragic drive-by shooting outside the River of Life Church in Harlesden, northwest London, on December 14, 2024, resulted in the death of Michelle Sadio, 44. Ms. Sadio, a mother of two, was an innocent bystander at a memorial service for an 80-year-old woman. Shots were fired from a stolen black Kia into a crowd gathered outside.
The intended target of the attack is believed to have been a local rapper known as Trapstar Toxic, who was present among the mourners. The same gun used in this fatal shooting had reportedly been used in two other incidents in the preceding months.
During the incident, two other individuals were injured. Kenneth Amoah was shot in the foot, while Kadeem Francis sustained a severe back injury and is now wheelchair-bound. Four men, Tahjin Sommersal, Perry Allen-Thomas, Shaquille Sutherland, and Amir Salem, are facing charges including murder and attempted murder.
