A jealous rage led to a mother being jailed for a violent revenge attack on her best friend and partner. Kelsey Bainbridge attacked Lauren Clarke with a Lambrini bottle and smashed a china ornament over Connor Brownless's head.
Bainbridge recorded herself assaulting Mr. Brownless, including punching and stabbing him, and posted the footage online. The viral video prompted public outcry and police intervention. Ms. Clarke sustained injuries requiring hospital treatment and has vehemently denied any infidelity.
At Teesside Crown Court, Bainbridge received a 30-month sentence after admitting to multiple charges, including attempted wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon. The court heard that Bainbridge was heavily intoxicated during the assaults, fueled by a false belief of betrayal.
