Police received a call late on Friday night concerning the discovery of two bodies at a residence in Aali Vihar. Upon arrival, officers found the victims, identified as Jyoti and her six-year-old daughter, concealed within the bed's storage. Tragically, both were pronounced dead shortly after being taken to the hospital. Forensic teams have meticulously examined the scene, collecting vital evidence.
Initial medical assessments indicated no external injuries, but a post-mortem later revealed strangulation and smothering as the probable causes of death, with the final report pending. Based on preliminary findings and neighborhood inquiries, Deen Dayal, an accountant living in the same building, has been named the prime suspect.
Neighbors reported that the family, comprising a husband, wife, and three children, lived in the house. The husband discovered the disturbing scene upon returning home, finding the gate closed and children waiting outside. He forced entry to find the home in disarray and, subsequently, the bodies hidden. Police are currently conducting extensive searches and raids to locate and arrest the accused.
