Tragic Home Discovery: Mother and Children Found Dead
23 Aug
Summary
- A 25-year-old woman and her two young children were discovered deceased in their home.
- Preliminary findings suggest strangulation as the cause of death for all three.
- Frequent disputes between the couple reportedly centered on domestic responsibilities.

A devastating discovery was made in Jaysingpur town on Saturday evening when a 25-year-old woman and her two young children were found dead in their residence. The woman, identified as Sangita Gadivadar, was found with her four-year-old daughter, Pragati, and one-and-a-half-year-old son, Pratik.
Sangita's brother-in-law discovered the tragic scene upon arriving at the home around 6 p.m. Initial police investigations and postmortem reports suggest that the deaths were caused by asphyxiation due to strangulation, with no immediate evidence of foul play. The current theory is that Sangita first hanged her children before taking her own life.
Family members revealed that the couple frequently argued about domestic responsibilities. Sangita, who had limited formal education, reportedly expressed significant stress from managing all four children, including her husband's two older children from a previous marriage. The couple had another argument earlier on Saturday before the husband left for work.
