In Kishanpur village, Morena district, a 35-year-old man, identified as Balram Singh Kushwaha, is alleged to have committed a brutal act of violence late on Friday night. He reportedly used an axe to kill his wife, Ravita Kushwaha, aged 32, and their two young sons, Aarav (8) and Debu (5).
Following the killings, Balram Singh Kushwaha is believed to have died by suicide by jumping in front of a train near the Shikarpur railway crossing. The discovery was made by neighbors who became concerned when the house remained locked from the outside on Saturday morning. Upon looking over the boundary wall, they found the bodies in the courtyard and alerted the authorities.
Preliminary investigations suggest a month-long domestic dispute may have been the catalyst. Reports indicate the conflict escalated after a video of Ravita dancing at a village event was shared with Balram on WhatsApp. The couple had reportedly been arguing since then, with Ravita even staying at her parental home for a period before returning three days prior to the incident. Police are continuing to gather evidence and establish the precise sequence of events and motive.
