A man identified as Murthy, aged 45, has been apprehended for allegedly operating an illegal trade in wildlife products from his residence on the outskirts of the city. The investigation was initiated after a wildlife protection NGO received intelligence about the online sale of these prohibited items. An NGO member posed as a client, interacting with Murthy who displayed wildlife articles and discussed their purported spiritual benefits.
