6 Feb
Summary
- Mother left three young children unsupervised at home.
- One child called 911 to report parents were gone.
- Home conditions included vomit, roaches, and garbage.

An Arkansas mother has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of her three young children. The 22-year-old, Tyliah Andrews, was charged after her 5-year-old son called 911 reporting that his parents were absent. Responding officers found the children, aged 1, 2, and 5, unsupervised in a home described as unsanitary, with vomit, live roaches, and scattered garbage.
Andrews initially told police she had left the children with a 14-year-old nephew, but authorities determined he was not involved. She later changed her account, stating she left after the nephew arrived. The children have since been placed in state custody, with a court appearance scheduled for March 20. Andrews remains in jail on a $5,000 bond.
