Summary
- Kewon White found guilty of capital murder in MO3's 2020 killing.
- White received a life sentence without parole for the shooting.
- Prosecutors alleged White was hired by rapper Yella Beezy for the murder.

Kewon White, 27, has been convicted of capital murder in the 2020 slaying of rapper MO3, whose given name was Melvin Noble. A jury delivered the guilty verdict on Friday, September 4, following two weeks of testimony. White has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Prosecutors contend that White was hired by fellow rapper Yella Beezy, whose real name is Markies Conway, to kill MO3. This alleged murder-for-hire is reportedly linked to a feud between the two artists that began in 2017. White's defense argued that while a murder may have been proven, the murder-for-hire aspect was not substantiated.
MO3, aged 28, was fatally shot 13 times on Interstate 35 in Dallas in November 2020. White is the first individual to face trial in connection with the ambush. His conviction precedes upcoming trials for Conway and another charged individual, Devin Brown, who also face capital murder charges in Noble's death.
