The grandfather of a young man missing since New Year's Day has made a heartfelt appeal for his safe return. Taylor Stewart, 21, was last seen in Cookstown, County Tyrone, at approximately 5:30 AM on January 1, 2026. His grandfather, Mitchell Crooks, expressed profound concern, especially given the severe cold sweeping the UK, and highlighted Taylor's promise to help with car troubles.
Police are conducting an extensive search, aided by K9 units and the Lough Neagh Search and Rescue Swift Water Rescue Team. They urge residents to check sheds, garages, and outbuildings for any signs of Taylor. CCTV footage has been released to assist the ongoing efforts to locate the missing man.
