7 Feb
Summary
- A floodlight was removed from Nancy Guthrie's home during the investigation.
- Investigators are examining evidence, including a potential ransom note.
- The FBI is launching a billboard campaign across multiple states.

As the investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie continues, a floodlight has seemingly been removed from the exterior of her Tucson, Arizona residence. Surveillance footage from Friday showed a floodlight next to her back door, but subsequent footage on Saturday revealed it was no longer present.
This detail has gained attention as writers of a supposed ransom note reportedly mentioned a 'destroyed' floodlight. The Pima County Sheriff's Department stated that the investigation is ongoing and they are reviewing multiple pieces of evidence, declining to release further details.
Investigators were observed on Guthrie's property on Friday, removing a wired device from the roof. Later that evening, a Subaru SUV was towed from the scene. Law enforcement also accessed surveillance footage from a Circle K store in Tucson following a tip about a vehicle of interest.
