Family Pleads for Mother's Safe Return
5 Feb
Summary
- Family shared video plea for missing mother Nancy on Instagram.
- They are ready to talk but need proof she is alive.
- Authorities have not identified suspects in the case.

Five days after Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her north Tucson, Arizona home, her children Savannah, Camron, and Annie released a heartfelt video plea on Instagram. The siblings conveyed their anguish and directed their message to those who might be holding their mother. "Our mother is a kind, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light," Savannah stated, reading from a prepared message. The family acknowledged reports of a possible ransom letter, indicating their willingness to engage in communication.
However, the Guthries stressed the critical need for verification, stating, "We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen." As of February 4, the Pima County Sheriff's Department has not named any suspects or persons of interest in the ongoing investigation. A media briefing was scheduled for February 5 at 1 p.m. EST.
