Summary
- Arizona woman Isabella Comas disappeared Sunday, last seen in Avondale.
- Her boyfriend, Tommy Rodriguez, was arrested Wednesday on unrelated charges.
- Comas' car and phone were found miles apart in Phoenix.

An Arizona woman, Isabella Comas, 21, remains missing after vanishing on Sunday. She was last seen in Avondale, Arizona, and was reported missing when she failed to appear for work. Her boyfriend, Tommy Rodriguez, 39, was arrested on Wednesday, though not directly for her disappearance, but on charges of theft of transportation and criminal damage.
Rodriguez is considered a person of interest in Comas' case. Prosecutors expressed concern over his actions immediately following her disappearance and his past criminal history, which includes a conviction for second-degree murder for which he served over a dozen years in prison. He left Arizona shortly after Comas went missing, traveling on a one-way ticket.
Comas' red 2011 Hyundai Sonata was discovered in Phoenix, miles from her last known location. Her cellphone was later tracked to a recycling center in the same city. Prosecutors believe Rodriguez may have attempted to tamper with evidence related to the case, suggesting he might know Comas' whereabouts. He is currently in custody with a $50,000 bond.
