Search Intensifies for Missing 4-Year-Old Girl

The search for 4-year-old Javeayah Harris, who was reported missing on June 30, is continuing with reduced public visibility of some efforts, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. Multiple agencies have collaborated on the search since the initial report.

Extensive search operations have encompassed over 5,000 acres, utilizing ground and air teams, neighborhood canvasses, and roadblocks. Javeayah is described as approximately 3 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing about 42 pounds, and potentially able to fit into small spaces. She was last seen wearing Minnie Mouse pajamas and pink beads in her hair.

Authorities have clarified that Javeayah is not nonverbal, contrary to earlier information. She is known to be talkative, smart, and friendly, with a fondness for Minnie Mouse and chasing chickens. Anyone with information or relevant video footage is encouraged to contact the sheriff's office or submit it through their evidence portal.
