Minors Arrested for Violent Gurgaon Cab Robbery

On October 10, 2025, three individuals, including two minors, were arrested for a violent carjacking incident that occurred in Gurgaon, India. According to the police, the accused had boarded the cab from Sector-12 and were headed towards Pataudi when the incident took place in the early hours of Friday.
Around 4:40 am, one of the suspects seated in the front pretended to feel nauseous and asked the driver to stop the car. As soon as the vehicle was pulled over, the others brandished a knife and a country-made pistol, pushed the driver out, and fled with the car and his mobile phone.
The victim, Deepak Kumar, a resident of Sector-39 in Gurgaon, lodged a complaint at the Pataudi police station. Authorities apprehended the accused on Sunday from Jatola village in Gurgaon. During interrogation, the trio confessed that they were addicted to drugs and had planned the robbery for money while they were in a park in Sector-12.
