- Wife, a dentist, died by suicide allegedly due to domestic abuse.

A case has been registered against Anant Garje, the personal assistant of Maharashtra Minister Pankaja Munde, after his wife, Dr. Gauri Palve, died by suicide at their Worli residence. The incident, which occurred on Saturday evening, has prompted a thorough investigation into allegations of harassment and domestic abuse.
Dr. Palve, who worked as a dentist at KEM Hospital, was discovered hanging in their home. The couple had reportedly married in February of this year. Police confirmed that no suicide note was found, and they are examining all potential factors related to her death.
Palve's family has accused Garje of persistent torture and harassment, attributing her tragic decision to ongoing domestic disputes. Following their complaint, Worli Police have initiated proceedings against Garje and others under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, as preliminary findings suggest domestic issues played a role in the apparent suicide.
