On Monday, a 33-year-old man named Yoel Guevara-Crespo was arrested at Miami International Airport. The incident occurred as he was boarding American Airlines flight AA1319, destined for Camaguey, Cuba. When asked standard security questions about prohibited items, Guevara-Crespo allegedly stated he had a bomb.
Despite his claim of joking, ticket counter agents informed him he could not fly and alerted their supervisor. Deputies apprehended Guevara-Crespo without incident.
