Three men have entered guilty pleas for drug-related offenses connected to a large-scale police operation. The raid, which occurred at properties in Pontefract and Darrington last month, resulted in the seizure of illicit substances valued at approximately £750,000. Alongside the drugs, authorities confiscated £10,000 in cash and multiple Rolex watches. A particularly unusual discovery during the search was 20 kilos of suspected stolen cornflakes.
Kyle Bates, 34, admitted to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, cannabis, and ketamine. Mark Bates, 38, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply these same drugs, plus possession of criminal property. Reece Britnell, 23, confessed to possession with intent to supply cannabis. A fourth individual, Alan Tonks, faces charges for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, cannabis, and ketamine.
The court has adjourned the case, with sentencing expected on June 18. The investigation highlights a complex criminal enterprise involving significant drug trafficking alongside unexpected seizures.
