A man, identified as a carpenter by trade, allegedly caused extensive damage during a ute rampage across Melbourne's inner suburbs. The 48-year-old accused driver, Daniel Keas, claimed he was performing a 'stunt' due to forgetting his medication. However, reports indicate he has no professional stunt driving experience. The alleged incident began in Fitzroy and concluded in Richmond, involving collisions with numerous vehicles and damaging several cars. One pedestrian sustained injuries while attempting to avoid the out-of-control vehicle. Police officers reportedly engaged in a short pursuit before the vehicle crashed, and he was subsequently arrested. Drugs were allegedly found in Keas's blood and within the vehicle. He was charged with various offenses, including dangerous driving and criminal damage, and was expected to appear in court on March 31.
