She unknowingly consumed the fries until she saw the Snapchat video online. Police stated the act appeared to be targeted harassment following their breakup in October 2024.
Santos is charged with distributing food with a harmful substance and is scheduled for arraignment on June 5, 2026. The restaurant's ownership stated that employees involved were immediately suspended and later fired, emphasizing that the actions do not reflect their food safety standards. Authorities found no public health concerns.
