In Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district, a 30-year-old married truck driver, Arjun Singh, was shot and killed on Tuesday morning. The alleged perpetrator is the brother of the victim's minor girlfriend, identified as 21-year-old Harsh Singh. Arjun was reportedly discussing an issue with Harsh and his cousin, Bobby, near a temple when Harsh fired a country-made pistol, fatally wounding him.
Tragedy struck again as the minor girl, upon learning of Arjun's death, attempted suicide by hanging herself at her home. Villagers intervened and saved her. She was initially hospitalized locally before being transferred to Mathura and then to SN Medical College in Agra due to her critical condition. The police have registered an FIR against Harsh Singh and Bobby and are continuing their investigation, with a forensic team collecting evidence.
