2 Mar
Summary
- Sanchez allegedly used cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, and alcohol.

- Trial for the former quarterback is scheduled for April 9.

Court documents reveal that former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was allegedly under the influence of cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, and alcohol during a confrontation with a truck driver in October. The filing suggests these substances may have contributed to his alleged impairment and conduct during the incident.
Sanchez and the truck driver, Perry Tole, were both hospitalized after the altercation. Sanchez sustained multiple stab wounds. Tole reportedly used pepper spray before Sanchez allegedly entered Tole's truck and shoved him. Sanchez was arrested on misdemeanor charges, later elevated to a felony.
As a result of the incident, Fox Sports terminated Sanchez's contract in November. His trial, originally planned for March 2026, is now slated to commence on April 9, 2026, following a request for continuance by his legal team.
