Manassas Shooting: 3 Critical, Manhunt Underway

Three individuals are in critical condition following an active shooter incident that occurred Wednesday morning near a United Rentals facility on Wellington Road in Manassas, Virginia. The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Marvin Grant, is described as a light-skinned Black male and may be driving a gray Toyota Camry or Corolla with North Carolina license plates. He is considered a coworker of the victims, and authorities suspect an altercation preceded the shooting. Officers responded around 7 a.m. after receiving multiple calls about the incident, discovering three employees in critical condition. Two victims were taken to Prince William Hospital, and one to Fairfax Hospital. As a safety precaution, local schools were placed on a lockdown status, though a shelter-in-place order for the community has since been lifted. Police are actively searching for Grant, urging the public not to approach him if spotted but to call 911 immediately.
