A fatal incident occurred on Sunday afternoon involving a 52-year-old man, identified as Veeresh, who was allegedly shot dead by one of his nephews. The victim was en route to a Shiv temple when the attack transpired. Five nephews were reportedly in pursuit of Veeresh, traveling in three separate vehicles.
As Veeresh's car passed through Garhiya Rangeen, one nephew's vehicle allegedly rammed it repeatedly, causing it to crash into a roadside ditch. Following the crash, an argument broke out between Veeresh and his nephews, culminating in Veeresh being shot. Preliminary investigations suggest an ongoing land dispute may have fueled the motive for the killing.
The body has been taken for postmortem examination. While no formal complaint has been filed yet, authorities are conducting a detailed probe into the matter.
