In Hillsboro, Missouri, Frank Forshee, 65, was arrested on May 7th, facing charges including first-degree domestic assault. The arrest followed an incident on May 3rd where Forshee allegedly shot his female roommate. The dispute reportedly began because the woman's dog would not stop barking.
Court documents indicate Forshee had threatened the woman with a pocket knife before retrieving a .22 caliber revolver. He then allegedly fired the weapon, striking the woman in the abdomen and calf. Prior to the shooting, Forshee was reportedly on a "meth bender," exhibiting erratic behavior.
Following the shooting, Forshee fled the scene and made concerning comments to a family member about self-harm. Negotiators eventually made contact, and Forshee was apprehended four days after the incident. He is currently held without bond.
