Kristen Naylor, aged 29, has received a suspended sentence after admitting to assaulting his father, harming a dog, and attacking a police officer.
The incidents occurred when Naylor, in a highly intoxicated state, confronted his father at his mother's home. An argument escalated into physical assault, with Naylor punching his father multiple times and threatening him. During the altercation, a dog was also inadvertently caught in the crossfire.
Following his arrest, Naylor was taken into custody. While at the station, he threw a Pot Noodle and a flapjack at an attending officer. The flapjack struck the officer in the genitals, causing significant pain.
Naylor was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days, a three-month alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement, and a six-month mental health treatment requirement. He must also pay £150 in prosecution costs.
