A brutal murder stemming from a suspected love triangle has shocked Narkhed taluka. Kishore Sawalkar was arrested by rural police for allegedly bludgeoning Sharad Gawli to death. Sawalkar suspected Gawli was involved with his wife, unaware she had already eloped with another man.
The investigation began after Gawli failed to return home from grazing goats. His father reported him missing, and villagers later discovered his body near a farm. Police efforts, including mobile location tracking, led to Sawalkar's arrest from a jungle hideout.
Sawalkar had relocated to a nearby district due to his suspicions about his wife, who had left their home on November 11. His attempts to contact Gawli were reportedly unsuccessful, fueling his rage before he allegedly confronted and killed Gawli.
