30 Jul
Summary
- Man jailed for stabbing friend twice during a drunken argument.
- Victim suffered massive internal bleeding and spleen removal.
- Attacker received a three-year sentence for unlawful wounding.

In November 2025, Luke Foreman stabbed his friend Charlie Johns twice in the abdomen during a street altercation in Park Gate, Hampshire. The court heard that Johns suffered severe internal bleeding and had his spleen removed. Foreman, who had been drinking with Johns, was sentenced to three years in prison, with half to be served in custody. The judge noted Foreman's extreme fortune that the stab wounds were not fatal.
The incident followed an earlier event where Foreman and Johns attempted to steal beer from a Morrisons store. Foreman assaulted a shop worker who challenged them. The stabbing occurred approximately 20 minutes later. After his arrest, Foreman surrendered to police, stating, "I'm the one you're looking for." His defense cited parental separation in 2022 and subsequent struggles with drink and cocaine.
