This individual, identified by family as Carlos Alberto Palazuelos, was reportedly detained while making deliveries with his family in the car. Authorities searched a property belonging to his mother-in-law, Josefina Maddox, and confiscated residents' phones. The Pima County Sheriff's Department later stated that the search was complete but the Nancy Guthrie investigation remains ongoing.
Law enforcement confirmed that the detention was based on leads but no charges were filed against the individual.
