A man has been found guilty of grievous bodily harm with intent following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court. The 23-year-old drove a car into a crowd outside a nightclub, resulting in six people being injured.
The incident occurred on Livery Street on October 4, 2024. The defendant was cleared of a more serious charge of attempted murder. However, the court found him guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 26. Three other individuals involved in the incident have already admitted to affray charges and will be sentenced at the same time.
