Seagull Smashed Against Wall Over Stolen Food

An incident involving alleged animal cruelty has prompted an investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police in Porthleven, Cornwall. On the afternoon of Monday, July 13, a man reportedly assaulted a seagull by the harbour. Witnesses claim the attack occurred because the bird attempted to take the man's food.

Eyewitness accounts describe the man as having grabbed and repeatedly smashed the seagull against a wall, later stuffing it through a fence. The bird was reportedly left with broken wings. The alleged assault took place in view of several people, including children, who were reportedly distressed by the event.
