Nagaur police arrested a 20-year-old man on Friday after a video of him performing a dangerous 'nagin dance' maneuver in a car during a wedding procession went viral. The incident, which occurred on April 30, saw the accused, identified as Manish Jat, driving a Scorpio-N in a hazardous zigzag pattern behind a DJ vehicle. This stunt put both wedding attendees and other road users at significant risk.
Authorities launched an operation after the alarming video gained traction online. A Khimsar police team, directed by SP Roshan Meena, identified the vehicle through its registration number visible in the footage. Utilizing the RajCop system, officers quickly traced the SUV to the Khimsar police station area and apprehended the driver. The Scorpio involved in the stunt has been seized.
