A 27-year-old man, Dijani Brown, faces charges for allegedly raping two Pennsylvania teenagers in separate incidents that occurred in October 2025. The U.S. Marshals Service apprehended Brown recently in Yonkers, New York, after a months-long search. He is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Horsham Township and a 13-year-old girl in Manor Township, Lancaster County.
Investigators report that Brown met both victims through social media platforms, specifically mentioning the 'Purp' app. He allegedly misrepresented his age, posing as a 17-year-old while being 27 at the time of the offenses. In one instance, he reportedly provided the victim with a vape and alcohol before the assault. He is currently held without bail and will be extradited to Pennsylvania.
Law enforcement officials are concerned about the possibility of additional victims and are strongly encouraging parents to closely monitor their children's phones and online interactions. They emphasize the need for parental awareness regarding the apps and social media used by young people to connect with others.
