The Pima County Sheriff's Department stated that this arrest is unconnected to the investigation into Guthrie's disappearance. She was reported missing on February 1 after being taken during a home invasion.
Investigators are continuing their search for the 84-year-old, whose pacemaker last synced with her iPhone around 2:30 a.m. on the morning she vanished. Her family has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to her safe return.
Meanwhile, Ring camera footage from a nearby Catalina Foothills resident captured numerous vehicles passing by Guthrie's home between midnight and 6 a.m. on February 1, the estimated time of the abduction. Some of this activity coincided with the time her pacemaker last synced.
