9 Oct
Summary
- Man admits murdering his former partner by stabbing.
- He had prior convictions for knife attacks on the victim.
- He was under a curfew when the June killing occurred.
Lee Inglis has admitted to murdering his former partner, Stacey Hogg, by stabbing her. The guilty plea was entered at the High Court in Edinburgh. The incident occurred earlier this year at Ms. Hogg's home in Hawick.
Records indicate that Inglis has a history of domestic abuse and had twice previously avoided prison sentences for knife attacks against the victim. Shockingly, at the time of the June murder, the 39-year-old was still under a home curfew and an existing unpaid work order. Ms. Hogg was 35 years old.
