A tragic incident in north-west London has resulted in a murder charge. Officers were dispatched to an apartment at Tollgate House in Maida Vale on Friday evening, December 20th, 2025, following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a 40-year-old male victim who received treatment at the scene for his injuries.
Despite efforts to save him, the victim succumbed to his wounds later in hospital. His family is currently being supported by specialist officers during this difficult time. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the victim's family is receiving dedicated assistance.
Following an investigation, Leon Douglas, aged 45, residing on Watford Way in Hendon, was arrested on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, on suspicion of murder. He was subsequently charged with the offense on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025. Douglas has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before Willesden Magistrates' Court this Saturday.
