Rebecca Fadanelli, a 40-year-old Stoughton resident, received a sentence of three years and 10 months in federal prison this week. She was found guilty of operating a fraudulent scheme at her Skin Beaute Med Spa, which had locations in Randolph and South Easton.
Fadanelli's business, which falsely advertised her as a nurse, involved selling counterfeit Botox, Sculptra, and Juvederm imported from China and Brazil. Over 900 clients were affected, resulting in over $1 million in payments for more than 2,700 injections.
Many clients suffered severe adverse effects, including infections, facial paralysis, vision problems, and lasting scars. Prosecutors emphasized that Fadanelli prioritized profit over client safety, noting her disregard for victims' complaints and ongoing denial of facts.
In addition to her prison term, Fadanelli must pay $1,001,562 in restitution to her victims. She will also be subject to supervised release for two years post-incarceration. Her arrest occurred in November 2024, with a guilty plea entered in April.
