He was reportedly held captive for approximately three hours at the residence of one of the accused. During this confinement, the victim sustained severe injuries from beatings, including attacks with sharp-edged weapons. His religious headwear and personal jewelry were also reportedly stolen.
The Ludhiana police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Authorities stated that the victim and the accused were students with a pre-existing conflict. Investigations are ongoing, with efforts underway to apprehend the identified and unidentified individuals involved.
