In Lucknow's Madeyganj area, a 20-year-old woman was found deceased under suspicious circumstances on Sunday morning. Police received a report from Ayan Khan, who stated his partner had died by suicide in their rented Mashalchi Tola accommodation. Officers responded, secured the scene, and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.
However, the deceased's family has raised serious allegations of foul play and murder. They reported that the woman, married for about one-and-a-half years in Kanpur, had met Ayan through social media. Approximately five months prior to her death, Ayan allegedly brought her to Lucknow, where they had been cohabiting without being married. The investigation is ongoing pending the official report.
